Kabwoba Primary and Secondary Schools

The Kabwoba Schools initiative is an education project established and managed under the umbrella of the Kagera Islamic Development Organization (KIDO). The schools comprise both Kabwoba Islamic Primary School and Kabwoba Islamic Secondary School, working together to provide inclusive, high-quality, and faith-based education for orphans, vulnerable children, and the wider community.

Guided by KIDO’s mission to promote both Islamic spiritual growth and social development, Kabwoba Schools serve as a model of integrating modern academic learning with Islamic values, ensuring that learners grow intellectually, morally, and spiritually.

Vision
To become a leading center of excellence in education in Kagera Region, producing knowledgeable, disciplined, and God-fearing youth who contribute positively to their communities and nation.

Mission
To provide quality, accessible, and holistic education grounded in Islamic teachings and moral principles, empowering orphans and all learners to achieve their full potential and live productive, ethical lives.

Kabwoba Schools stand as a living example of KIDO’s vision in action — merging faith, knowledge, and compassion to transform lives. By providing free and inclusive education, especially for orphans, the schools embody the Islamic principle that education is both a right and a duty. Through this initiative, KIDO aims to raise a generation of educated, ethical, and empowered youth capable of building a prosperous and morally upright society for Kagera and beyond.
